Fall Hangout Spots for You and Your Dog

The Fall season is finally here, which means slightly cooler weather and the urge to hang in coffee shops, farmers’ markets, breweries, and pumpkin patches. There is no shortage of places to hang out where you can also bring your fur baby along. Austin ranks within the top ten most pet-friendly states in America.

We’d like to share a few suggestions:

1.     Barton Creek Farmers Market – Known as Austin’s original Farmers Market. Every Saturday, you can support local farmers, grab some healthy eats and bring your dog along to get in some exercise while you shop.

2.     Lamppost Coffee (Georgetown) – Enjoy the beauty of Fall in a small town and check out this quaint little coffee shop on the square. Order a latte, enjoy a book, and sometimes even some live music.

3.     The Brewtorium – This is the perfect Friday evening dinner spot for the whole family. Great food, drinks, and lots of space for your family and dog.

4.     Moonshine Grill – Bring your pup to one of the best brunch locations in Austin.

5.     Austin Paddle Shack – The beauty of Fall in Austin is that it’s still warm enough to be out on the water.

6.     Puptopia Festival  - October 29th | Mueller Lake Park. How cool is this? An entire festival just for your doggy but also fun for you too! There will be snacks, fun, games, and more for a fun day to bond with your pet and enjoy being outside.

7.     Barktoberfest – October 15th | Leander, TX. Don’t have a dog but reading to welcome one into your home? This one’s for you! This event benefits Central TX SPCA to help dogs in the shelter find their forever homes. For more information, visit centraltexasSPCA.org.

8.     Cosmic Coffee – We love this place! You can enjoy inside or outside seating areas with your family, friends, and, of course, your dog! The scenery is also a perfect Fall time effect.

9.     Yard Bar – Dog Park, Restaurant, Bar all in one! You can even shop for branded merch for you and your dog.

10.  Auditorium Shores at Town Lake Metro Park – It takes a while for the weather to cool down here, but this is an excellent spot for some outdoor time. Beautiful scenery and a variety of activities are available. Dogs are even allowed off-leash.

We hope you and your pup can get out there and enjoy some Fall Fun! If you snap a few pictures, we’d love for you to share them! There are so many more events and establishments to choose from.
