You will then receive a notification via email that your account has been approved. Once you activate your account and submit your service request, we will contact you about scheduling a meet and greet with one of our professional pet sitters.

Yes, we are insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. We would be happy to show you copies of our policies upon request.

TLDOM has been around animals for years and has attended various animal handling training. All sitters maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.

Unfortunately, we do not provide boarding services. We provide in-home pet-sitting services. This service allows for your pets to stay in the comforts of an environment they are most comfortable with.

The only requirements that we have for dog walking services is that your pet has a proper fitting harness and/or collar, updated ID tags, up-to-date Rabies vaccines and a proper leash.

The safety of your dogs is of the utmost importance to us. Extreme weather conditions and temperatures can harm your dog, therefore the following guidelines are generally adhered to:

If the outside temperature is over 90F, we may make some alterations to the typical routine. We may decide to limit outdoor time. We may keep the dog off the hot pavement and instead opt to play some doggie games (fetch, frisbee, etc) in a shaded area. We may let your dog outside for a quick potty break, and spend the rest of the time indoors with the dog, engaging in some training, brushing, de-shedding, or some other activity the dog would find enjoyable.

If the outside temperature is below 40F, we may decide to adjust the typical routine similar in nature to #1 above.

If it is currently snowing or raining outside, we may still go on our standard walk. We will be sensitive to your dog’s comfort and safety. If your dog displays signs of discomfort, we will bring him to a better suited environment, such as in your home, or in our car to warm up. We will still spend the agreed upon time with your dog – we just want him to be safe and comfortable.

If we find it necessary to make adjustments due to extreme weather, we will still spend the agreed amount of time with your pet. The only difference is they may not be out walking for extended periods of time due the dangers extreme weather conditions pose.

If you decide you would like to go with our services after the meet and greet, we will need access to your home via a garage code, door code, or lockbox. Electronic access to homes should be provided at meet and greet to ensure our ability to access homes when services are scheduled. The lockbox does not have to hang from your front door. It can be hidden in a bush, flowerpot, backyard, etc. Clients that provide a garage code or front door code will need to hide a backup key on their property.

Having a lockbox enables TLDOM to provide service for last-minute needs or emergencies. TLDOM can quickly schedule an available Team Member and dispatch them to your home. There is no time delay, as someone waits for a key to be delivered. Lockboxes ensure the safety of your home. You are in charge of your keys. This is YOUR lockbox. You own it. You set the code.

Lockboxes may be purchased from TLDOM ($25) or you may supply your own. If you purchase a lockbox from TLDOM, the cost will be added to your invoice and dropped off. You will need to add two things to your Client Profile: the lockbox code and the location.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes the consumer’s domain name and e-mail address (where possible).

Usage of cameras and audio recording devices. All cameras and electronic recording devices must be disclosed, in good faith, and no videos/photographs may be used or posted without express written permission. We don't mind that they have them at all (we encourage them), but want to know when we are doing overnights, half-day, and almost overnight services, we can undress in private, use facilities, and sleep in private.

Yes, we do water plants upon request. The client is of the understanding that TLDOM is not responsible for wilted, dead, or otherwise unhealthy plants. TLDOM will work hard to follow customers' written directions as precisely as possible but cannot be responsible if the results are not favorable. Please place all indoor plants together on a waterproof surface in plain sight, as TLDOM is not responsible for water-damaged areas or missed plants.

We want you to feel confident about using a third-party app to enhance your experience with our services. Your privacy and security are of utmost importance to us. Rest assured that the app we have chosen to partner with utilizes robust encryption technology, equivalent to what banks use to protect your sensitive information.

When you interact with the app, all data is securely transmitted and stored on servers with stringent security measures in place. Regular backups are performed to ensure the safety and integrity of your data.

By leveraging this trusted app, we aim to provide you with a seamless and convenient way to access our services while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security. Your trust and satisfaction are our top priorities.

All service requests should be made through Time To Pet Portal. Service requests should not be made through your sitter.

If services are not made through Time To Pet, neither you nor the sitter will have the protection of our liability insurance, and no guarantee that the visit will be scheduled.

Full payment is required upon submission and approval of the service request, and the card on file will be automatically charged. If appointments are arranged within a designated time block, all animals will be accommodated without division, and there will be an extra charge of $10 for each additional animal.

For NEW clients:

• Meet and greets will need to be completed before your service request can be approved.

• Payment is due in full once the service request is submitted and approved

For existing clients:

• ALL service requests must be submitted 48hrs prior to service dates.

• Payment is due in full once the service request is submitted and approved.

For service requests requiring less than 48 hours' notice, kindly send a message to our office via the Time to Pet "Conversation" tab. Please note that these requests will incur a $10 short-notice fee.

For Dog Walking membership payments, full payment is required on the 1st of each month.

If services need to be extended, there will be a guaranteed payment at the same rate for all services at the time of the requested change.

***Although not required, if you wish to tip your sitter, you may select the amount when paying your invoice.

Tipping is not expected but is appreciated. If you would like to leave a tip you can do so on the time to pet portal when you pay your invoice.

During the following holidays, our service incurs a fee of $20 per day:

•Spring Break-March 11-19

•Easter Weekend - April (Friday through Sunday)

•Independence Day - July (3rd to 5th)

We kindly request that you provide cancellation notices as early as possible to allow us to manage our schedule efficiently. The specified notice periods ensure fairness to both our clients and our team.

• For Pet Sitting/House Sitting Services, if you cancel at least 72 hours before the first day of service, you will be eligible for a credit. If you cancel with less than 72 hours notice, you will not be eligible to receive credit.

•For Dog Walking and other Services, if you cancel at least 24 hours before the first day of the scheduled dog walking service, you will be eligible for a credit. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will not be eligible to receive credit.

***Please be advised that our 72-hour cancellation policy applies to all bookings, including those made at the last minute. We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly, and we strive to accommodate your needs while also maintaining a fair and consistent approach for all our clients.

If pet owners decide to extend their trip there must be at least a 24-hour notice, or you will become subject to a penalty fee not to exceed $100 in addition to the normal charges for services.

If your pet’s behavior escalates to an aggressive state at any time, This Lil Dog of Mine Pet Services, LLC reserves the right to cancel service immediately and refund the remaining fee. Customers may resume service after a 60 days training program on a case-by-case basis. If aggressive behavior results in a bite and breaking of skin to the Pet care professional, other persons, or another animal (s) caused by the Customer's pet(s) or negligent act, the customer is required to reimburse for medical expenses and other damages resulting from an injury.

A pet sitter can be a friend or a neighbor, and they can be great resources when they are available, however, sometimes your pet is not their priority and they rush through a visit. When you hire a pet professional, you have an individual who has a passion for pet-sitting, and their priority will be your pet’s care and needs. When hiring TLDOM, you will get a professional pet sitter that is 100% insured and bonded, with references, service contracts, professional associations, and a wealth of knowledge to properly caring for your pet.

Yes, we require a meet and greet prior to any service. We are a team so any teammate might provide your service after the initial meeting. The first meet and greet is complimentary. Any additional meet and greets that you request are invoiced at the standard service rate for 30 minutes.

This Lil Dog of Mine is a team collaborating company. Our vetted W2 employees are fully staffed and trained to accommodate no matter the member.

We pride ourselves on being a responsible and trustworthy company. In efforts to give our clients a sense of relief and a little more reassurance while they are away, we provide all of our sitters with use of industry-leading scheduling software that shows visit start and end times; it also uses GPS to track and display walk and taxi services. Once the visit is completed, the sitter sends an update including photos to an activity feed in the portal for you to review.

All first time clients receive a complimentary meet and greet when booking at least 5 or more visits. If you’d like your sitter to come back out to your house for additional visits prior to service, we are happy to arrange this. Our standard 30 minute visit charge will apply.

In the event that your pet becomes ill or is in need of a medical emergency, we will transport them immediately to a specified vet per your instruction. If your specified vet is unavailable, the pet will be taken to the closest vet or Emergency Care Hospital for animals.

We are capable and available to care for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, and more.
