Doggie & me Costumes

Who’s ready for some Halloween fun? October is here, and if you haven’t already found a costume, you’re probably scrolling down Pinterest or amazon looking for some creative ideas. We are here to help you brainstorm on how you can get your dog in on the dress-up fun! Who doesn’t like dressing up their pups, right?

Here are some ideas that we love for matching costumes for the family, including your dog:

1.     The Adams Family is a classic for this time of year, and who better to play Cousin It than your shaggy dog? This would also fit larger households because many family members can choose.

2.     Legally Blonde – This one’s for the doggie and me duos. Grab your favorite pink outfit and a blond wig, put your mini pup in a fashionable bag with some shades, and watch out, Elle Woods!

3.     Smores – This favorite Fall time treat would be a great costume idea for a couple and their fur baby.

4.     Thing 1 and Thing 2 – We all love this Dr. Suess favorite!

5.     Scooby Doo & The Gang – This is another awesome idea for larger families because there are a variety of characters to choose from. If you want to be a little more outside of the box with your dog’s costume, you can dress them as the Mystery Mobile instead of Scooby!

6.     101 Dalmatians – Got multiple dogs? This one would work well for you! Make them all Dalmatians for the night. You could be one too!

7.     Hotdog and Condiments – This one’s a cute idea for a couple and their pup. Or any family dynamic. You dress up as your favorite hotdog topping, and well, your dog can be the hotdog,

8.     Stranger Things – is another fun theme for big families or even a group of friends. The great thing about this is that you need some 80s-themed clothes, and there you have it. Dress your dog as a Demogorgon, and there you have everyone’s favorite Netflix thriller.

9.     A rainbow and a Unicorn – It’s colorful, cute, and fun for a party of two.

10.  Minions – This would be fun for a small or large group since there are countless ones. You can even add your own DIY flare to give your’s personality.

Dressing up with your dog can be a fun time, and it causes your pet to feel included. It’s a great way to bond. We hope that some of these suggestions are helpful in your search for the perfect costume for you, your family, and your fur baby. If you need a place to parade, your doggie and me costumes would be one of the Puptopia events. Share a photo and tag us so our community can enjoy all the cuteness! We would love to see Lil Dog of yours having some Halloween fun.
