Celebrating Easter With Your Pet

Another holiday is right around the corner, and you all know we are here for including our pets in celebrating all the things. Head over to your local pet or craft store, and grab Fido some bunny ears. Let’s look at a few more ideas to celebrate Easter with your pet. It’s just a matter of taking what you already do and making it animal friendly.

1.     Easter baskets – kids love them; your pet will too! Get a basket or even a new cozy bed (depending on the size) and fill it with your pet’s favorite toys and snacks. They will be so excited about the new treats.

2.     A photoshoot is always a good idea! As you know from a few previous blogs, we’re a huge fan of capturing moments with the animals in our lives. This would be especially fun if your pet is a bunny!

3.     “Egg hunt” for dogs is a perfect activity for dogs who enjoy adventure or even for dogs in the training process. Get a few treats that you know they’ll love, and take them on a hunt around the house or backyard.

4.     Farmers Market – an excellent activity for the whole family, including your dog (if they love being around lots of people and other animals).

5.     Picnic in the park – enjoy the beautiful spring weather with some outside time. Bring some games and everyone’s favorite snacks. Oh, and don’t forget your bunny ears!

These ideas don’t have to be holiday-specific. In fact, you don’t need to be celebrating a holiday at all. Fun activities could be just as easily utilized for a family fun time on a random weekend.
